From Church Hill to Jackson Ward to Pocahontas Island, the Richmond region is full of places cherished for their historical significance and beloved for their natural beauty. Join the Thalea String Quartet, and writer Angela Lehman to celebrate our community’s sense of place through chamber music. Dedicated to bringing timeless music to audiences from all walks of life, the Thalea String Quartet is comprised of violinists Christopher Whitley and Kumiko Sakamoto, violist Luis Bellorín, and cellist Titilayo Ayangade. This concert is presented in conjunction with the Richmond Public Library’s Gellman Room Concert Series.
